PlantCare Works Offline

PlantCare keeps the core garden, care schedule, calendar, reminders, and guide usable locally on the device. Cloud sync, AI Scan, account export, account deletion, and Pro subscription checks need the related services to be configured and reachable.

AI Scan Results Are Suggestions

Plant Scan can suggest possible plant matches from a photo, but results may be wrong or incomplete. Review the result before saving it to the garden.

PlantCare does not provide medical, toxicology, pet-safety, food-safety, or emergency safety advice. For urgent or safety-related questions, use a qualified source outside PlantCare.

Reminders

Care reminders are local notifications. To use reminders:

1. Open a plant task.
2. Enable the reminder.
3. Allow notifications when iOS asks.

If reminders stop appearing, check iOS Settings > Notifications > PlantCare and confirm notifications are allowed.

Data Export And Deletion

PlantCare includes Data Controls for local export and deletion.

• Local export creates a JSON snapshot of local plant and care data.
• Local deletion removes PlantCare data from the device and cancels scheduled care notifications.
• Cloud export and cloud deletion require a signed-in cloud account and the account data service to be deployed.
